practical
motors parts informers
1)
Starter: - The starter is the part which is stationary &
does not move. It contains a coil.
2)
Rotor: - the rotor is the part which rotate because of induction
the rotor rotates. It contains in a coil.
3)
Shaft: - the shaft is a rod which connect the imparter to the rotor.
4)
Capacitor: - a capacitor helps to start the motor.
5)
Starting coil: - the coil which is more powerful
which help to start the motor
6)
Running coil: - the coil which help to keep the
motor running it does consume much power.
7)
Impale: - the impale contain a fan which help to suck throw
water is connected to the rotor.

Motor Rewinding
Aim: - Rewinding a motor…
Tool: - wire cutting, spanner, screw drive…
Material: - copper wire, cotton thread, varnish PVL paper, capacitor,
screw connector, sleeve…
1 horsepower motor ...
Procedure: - 1) we disassembled the motor according to the earlier
motor practical.
2) the
important paint is to coil count the turn of coil.
3) the fault
was the coil was short circulated.
Observation :- 1) while filling the coil we
should fill in one direction , otherwise the motor will not work.
2) while
filling the coil there should be no damage or any types of pressure on it,
doing that will damage the coil you will damage the coil you will have to
rewind the motors again…
Conclusion: - if the coil get short circuit at
any point will have rewind the motors again…
earthling
Aim:
Information about earthing practically.
Requirements:
Materials:
· Copper plate
· Salt
· Coal
· Pipe
Tools:
· Tikkav
· Pavda
Par
·

Procedure:
*First choose a wet surface.
*start digging under 2meter in earth.
*Put some salt in the hole.
*Connect your copper plate with wire
using nut bolt.
*Put plate in hole.
*Take the wire inside from pipe.
*Put it straightly then drop some coal
in it.
*Then put some salt then again coal.
*After this arrange bricks around the
pipe.
*Then pour sand to cover it.
*Make a border to pipe.
*Connect the wire into home.
Conclusion:
*Water will always near to earthing
in earth.
*This place wants to be wet always.
casing and capping practically.
Tools:
*Tester
* Stripper
* Plier
* Screw driver
* Drill machine
* Plumb board
* Hammer
* Level tube
*aterial:
*Board
* wires
*Casing and Capping
* Tubes(Patti)
Process:
· First you should know the height from
the floor where you are going to work its important.
· Using a plumb board make a straight
line where you going to do casing.
· Drill holes to wall where you want to
fit casing.
· Then fit casings using the screws.
· After this fit electric board in
proper place.
· Then connect all joints properly.
· Test it by switching on one time then
fit Patti.
· after all these clean your working
space.
Observation:
*When we are casing we want to use
screw driver instead of drill machine. Because driller damages the threading’s
of screws.
* Don't use hammer to fit screws.
Electric load
Electric load
Electric load: -
Aim: - calculating electric load…
Procedure: - while calculating the load the main value in voltage load
calculation to total voltage…
How
know how to count load …
1)
Counting
current in whole vigyan ashram
2)
Help
of that remove current
3)
By
help of current wire gauge is decided…

bio gas.
Requirement:
Calculator, Tape
Process:
· First we want to measure the area of
tank.
· Then measure the height of tank.
· Formula is pie r2xh=Volume.
· After this we will get volume of
tank.
· Then subtract height from volume of
tank.
· You will get the quantity of gas
inside.
· When we add hot water into biogas its
gas quantity increases,4ltrs 70cm to 75cm
· When its morning tanks height is75cm,
in afternoon tanks height is increased to 80cm. (when we put 5kgs dung into
biogas).
· When we put 4ltrs of hot water in
evening tanks height increased 2cm only because of low temperature.
Conclusion:
· Gas increases when temperature is
high.
· Water vapor also come with methane.
· We want to separate water vapor from
methane gas then only fire will fire continuously.
· We want to note readings continually
to make a conclusion on bio gas.
FAB LAB
Today was our first FAB LAB.
So sir explained us about Fab Lab
A Fab Lab has lots of prototyping machines
1. Laser Cutter
2. Radium Cutter
3. Milling Machine
4. 3D Printer
How to work on it and handle the machine properly.
Sir were explaining us about the machines that they are very costly so use it really carefully.
We made a Pen Stand using a Laser Cutter.
The material we used was Acrylic.
Now we know what is a Laser Cutter is and how it works.
Sir explained us about how a Radium Cutter works how to operate it through the software named "Fab" and how to make manual adjustments.
the software runs on an operating system named "Ubuntu".
Open Terminal --type "sudo fab"
type in the current account's password
then choose "mesh (.stl)"
then choose machine name as "Roland Vinyl Cutter (.rml)"
click make_stl_rml
click load .stl
then select your .stl file and click load or open
click make .png
choose your finish
click make.rml
then click Send It! to start your job.
